We made it to Holbrook, AZ. The booklet says "Holbrook has been known as the toughest, most rugged and lawless town of the Old West". But our OK RV Park was a nice Good Sam Park

Here in Navajo County there is a Petrified Forest National Park. Did you know about that? Here in our park Becca and I visited their sampling of "petrified rock," really just trees that have turned into rock.

When Gramma saw these big samples she thought of her grand children who collect rocks.

This morning (4/5) we continued east along I40, passing into New Mexico, with the ambiguous nick name "Land of Enchantment". Tonight we are near Albuquerque (can you spell it? Did you know it is at 5000,' Like Denver and SLC). We're spending the night in a nice park, ambitiously named "American RV Park"

Tomorrow (4/6) we continue along I40 from here to Tucumcari. (Not making that up)
