The last stop was at a railroad display including a few railroad cars including a real Caboose (pronounced distinctly by David as “Cab Ba Boose”). It was a highlight of the visit for him. While his parents packed the car, David picked over the rocks to find just the right one for his new car. Saturday, 12/29 the Bountifuls packed up their car and headed north back home. It was a wonderful visit for us.
love the post! great pictures. we have those cheveron baby blue and pink ones you gave us back in the day, carson loves those things and the girls do too (can you guess what color they fight over:) glad they were able to visit with you guys.
David saw these pictures and was so excited. He explained that he is sticking out his tongue because it looks like his car is sticking out its tongue. The picture makes more sense now. David still has the rock and keeps it by his chair in the kitchen. Isn't that a great picture of us- on a walk to take out the trash- so fun! We really had a great time visiting, and we were able to catch up on our missed sleep once we got home.
A visit to a train? I bet David was soo excited!!! Glad that the Bountiful Connelly's were able to visit. It is much harder for us to do this as we only really have one car. Maybe we need to get another van?
Ok, until Heidi mentioned they were taking out the trash I didn't notice the trash bag in the photo. Perhaps photoshop can make it vanish completely. Those Bountiful Connelly's do everything together. Love David's explanation for his "pose", got a give it to the kid for his imagination. Looks like rock collecting runs in the family.
