Our last afternoon in Rigby/Rexburg ended in hugs and goodbyes and laughs, as Papa played with Emma and Lily on Manda's front porch. It was a nice visit with a nice family. The next morning (10/3) we weather wussies (might as well admit it) fled NE Idaho. The forecast was for "rain showers, snow showers and wind gusts to 50mph". M and I shivered in the 35 degree morning as we hooked up the car. Then we traveled south--definitely the correct direction. The day warmed up and we began to shed clothing layers until we got to SLC where it was a pleasant 78 degrees? Now we have heard that the SLC weather this weekend will remind us that we need to continue south. But first some visiting with the fams here.
