You Never Promised Me a Rose Garden

The newest addition to the garden is a row of
lights around the edge of the garden path

A very unique feature of this garden has to do with
the trees.  Marked in white are the 3 trees that I will try
to give you a closer look at what makes them so special.
Look at the three trees center stage in this photo.
The tree on the left goes down to the ground then curves up and then back down.
The downward curve is labeled #1 in the photo above where it is seen from the other direction.

Behind  tree number 1 the curve of the tree comes up and goes down behind the middle tree,
and then it goes up and up to the leaves.

The tree in the middle does not go up and down.  It is straight.  The bent trees go around it.
The trunk you can see right here near the green bushes is also #1
The trunk going up the right side with the thatches on it is the #2 tree from the photo above.
This is another view of the tree #3.  The shadow makes it difficult to see but it is also
one of the in and out of the ground trees like the others.

It is so amazing to see these unusual trees in person.  I wanted you to have a chance
to share in the amazing garden here at VDO.

I always wondered if the trees do that all by themselves or if they are "trained." Is it weather-related?
