Yellowstone Adventure - Part 4

Saturday, 8/25, was our first full day in the park with everybody. We decided to go looking for wildlife.  At the park entrance Carson was given a chart to match when we saw animals. Away we went in the motorhome and the van.
We headed north toward Canyon. At one turn out Carson reads the map
A baby bison and his mom crossed the road in front of us!
There was some tussling in this group. We understood is was rutting season.
We were pretty close to this bull. Of course we stayed in the vehicles
Can you tell what these are?
They are bats!
After we had lunch at Canyon Village, we continued north to Tower Falls.
At the Tower Falls lookout we took some family photos

Back to our camp sites, we had dinner at the picnic table. Macy was having fun
Amanda went to the trouble of planning and preparing delicious tin foil dinners--a Boy Scout campout classic.
Our beautiful Matriarch really enjoyed her time with Amanda, Eric and their children
Our long day ended around the campfire. This would be our last night, so Emma helped us burn the rest of our wood.
