We are on the way to San Diego for my 50th high school graduation reunion. It is 700 miles away. You know the saying -- "How do you eat an elephant?" The answer is "One bite at a time" That is kind of the way the Auswanderers travel. "How do you make a 700 mile drive?" Some of our children believe the answer is "You drive night and day until you get there". Our "retired" answer is "One 200 mile chunk at a time."
So last night in Springville we got ready to roll. Ganon and Heidi came over to help. We got up early this morning and we got going. After 5 hours on the road we got here, Cedar City, UT KOA, a little more than 200 miles from Springville.
We've stayed here before and like it. It is pricy but the "pull through" sites are well maintained
After getting settled, Becca wanted to visit the "pool area" as she calls it. This is another reason we like to arrive at our destination in the early afternoon. You can enjoy yourself a little and rest up for the next day's drive.
It was seventy degrees today in this mile high city and the pool water was cold. But Becca is our polar bear. She loves it and had a grand time.
