Fortunate Papa

Last week we traded the warmth of the California desert for the warmth of children and grandchildren. Among the sweet reunion moments was seeing the Rigby children.

Little Carson had forgotten me. On Friday night as Amanda was getting into the motorhome she handed Carson to me. He looked at this strange guy and then back to his mother. He wanted to be brave but when he looked at me once more a big tear rolled down his left cheek. By Sunday we were buds. In this photo we exchange big smiles.
Emma and Lily did remember me and spent the weekend renewing our friendship. Emma, The Thoughtful gave hugs and smiles. Lily sat next to me in church. When she thought I was going to sleep (how could she get that idea?) she poked me softly in the closed eye and said "Wake up!" She was the last Reynolds to say good bye. She looked around for a place on my face to kiss and chose a spot above the beard line. Good times!

Oh, those are some fun pictures. hey mom, sad thing, i washed those dresses for the first time and guess what happened.. they bleed all over. Emmas was the worst, the blue went all into the white. i was really sad. they were so cute on them. but good news. i was able to get all my money back even though i didn't have a recipt. i wanted to get new ones but if they get a stain on them again, what will i do? Anyway, it was great to see you guys and all the family. eric talks about staying at the cabin again sometime. the kids loved it. and i loved it too mins- the trains and the drag racing at night:) thanks .
