Moon o'er VDO

This Halloween morning I stepped out of the rig and saw this pre-dawn desert moon setting behind the palms

I went back for the camera although I didn't expect our modest gear to capture the beautiful sight. I was pleasantly surprised. We got these colors, shading and lighting without doing any fixing " in Photoshop". Fun, yeah?

What was I doing out this early? I was heading over to the little gym here at VDO. I've learned that if you don't get there early, the place is crawling with sweaty old folks.
