Harvest moon

The other night there was a full moon, which in October is called the "Harvest Moon". Emma and I were excited to see it. Here are two looks at it. I know from experience trying to photograph beautiful moons in Hawaii, you need a very long lens and a tripod. I had neither. So Mom zonked in on one shot to give a larger look. The other shows a corner of Bigfoot. The teeny tiny white zit off to the right is the moon. But to our eyes, here in the clear Idaho night, the moon was huge and beautiful.
